Kumamon is #1!!

I want to share something awesome I came across today. Kumamon is number one in the Yurukyara Prefecture Character Contest!

What? You didn't know there was such a contest? Neither did I. It turns out that you can vote once a day for your favorite character.

At CLAIR I am official magistrate of prefecture image character voting and dean of mule-related artifacts. Don't be jealous of my many responsibilities!

By the way, word on the street has it that a Subway has opened in Kumamoto. Five years too late...

Subway opens in Aeon Clair on the 17th this month. It will be a magical day. I already have it booked in to my diary. When Kaldi (the foreign food store) opens up the next day I will be rolling around in my magical 10-minutes-from-Clair placement in a delirious state
